Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Murlan mobile app currently collects, stores, and uses player information.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Murlan mobile game for iOS and Android and the public Murlan website. It covers the current account system, local device storage, hosted profile sync, and public contact form storage through Supabase.
2. Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign in with Google or Apple, Murlan may receive your account identifier, email address, and basic profile information made available by your sign-in provider and Supabase Auth.
Contact form information
If you contact Murlan through the public website contact form, Murlan stores the name, email address, subject, message, page URL, and browser user-agent information you submit so the support request can be reviewed and answered.
Profile and gameplay information
Murlan stores gameplay-related information such as:
- username
- level, XP, coins, and gems
- purchase-related entitlement state such as gem-pack credits and ad-free status
- profile creation timestamps
- match results and profile progression data
Device-local storage
The app stores profile and session-related information locally on your device so your progress and sign-in state can persist between launches.
3. How We Use Information
We use the collected information to:
- authenticate players and restore signed-in sessions
- sync profile progression between the device and the hosted profile record
- validate purchases, credit gems, and apply subscription entitlements
- show player identity, rewards, and account state in the app UI
- respond to support messages and public website contact requests
- support account deletion and other account lifecycle actions
- operate and secure the service
4. Service Providers
Murlan currently relies on third-party services to operate parts of the app:
- Supabase for authentication, hosted profile storage, public website contact form storage, and account operations
- Google when you choose Google sign-in
- Apple when you choose Sign in with Apple
- RevenueCat for in-app purchase validation, purchase events, and subscription entitlement status
- Google AdMob for in-app advertising and ad privacy choices
- Platform providers such as Apple and Google for app distribution and store payment processing
If additional sign-in providers or analytics services are added later, this policy should be updated accordingly.
5. Data Retention
Local data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or overwrite it through normal app usage. Hosted account data remains in the backend until you delete your account or it must be retained for legitimate operational or legal reasons. Public website contact messages remain in the backend until they are reviewed, archived, deleted, or must be retained for legitimate operational or legal reasons.
6. Account Deletion and Your Choices
You can sign out from the in-app account settings. You can also request full account deletion through the in-app delete-account flow, which is intended to remove your hosted account data and invalidate the active session.
7. Children’s Privacy
Murlan is not intentionally directed to children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing on their own. If you believe personal information from a child has been provided improperly, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.
8. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as the app adds features, changes providers, or changes the way profile and gameplay information are stored.
